Blossoms and Buds – Thoughts on Numbers 17:8

The next day Moses entered the tent and saw that Aaron’s staff, which represented the tribe of Levi, had not only sprouted but had budded, blossomed and produced almonds. Numbers 17:8, NIV

Many are without a heavenly certainty of their faith. Our taste buds grow dull to the meals made in Heaven’s kitchen but there are times when dessert comes too.

At times God gives us almonds when all He promised were blossoms.

If you are short of faith and long of uncertainty, ask God to shed the bright light of His love abroad in your heart. Disclaimer: the best proof of the glowing diamonds of divine love are only found in the dark mineshaft of one’s soul. Let Him take you deeper and you will find the graces He’s been growing in your favor at Christ’s expense.
