What would you say if your daughter brought this guy home?

I found this artist in a meme you also may have seen floating around Facebook in the last week or so like myself.

The meme said, “What would you say if your daughter brought this guy home?“

Maybe he just made the best version of himself based on what kind of torment he’s experienced. If so, his bold act is a response to drawing his fear so he can look at it in the mirror and not be afraid. I give him credit for leaning over the abyss to get a better look and come back alive from the “dead“ just to tell us that he lived and show us what he’d seen.

Or…

he just thinks it looks cool 😎

Either way, I’d like to hear him speak for himself. I’d considered trying to find him in reality and listen if he’d be kind enough to tell a stranger his story.

We are not always as we seem, are we?

I have a strange feeling you’d do the same if “…your daughter brought this kid home”.

Q. When have you last been sorely misjudged?

Q. If you’ve ever been guilty of judging someone too quickly, what were you really afraid of under the jest or judgment?

Q. What would you say if this guy ended up at your door?

Feel free to leave an answer to any of them in the comments.

Be kind. Be human. Be both. #humankind #humankindness
