Psalm 139:8b – “If I make my bed in hell, you are there.”
After David’s great sin, he realized the set of eyes that mattered most were God’s.
While others looked, God watched.
Not just one lazy eye in a cosmic stare down, but two good eyes fixed on a wayward lamb.
There isn’t a place in the vast expense where He is not, and the good news is, He makes dinner for his sheep in the valley in the very presence of their enemies.
A hideaway bed on the highway may be where He has or had you, but rest easy knowing even if you found yourself making a bed in hell, He’s there and always will be.
